Corn Ribs with C&B

Introducing a delectable twist on traditional corn-on-the-cob: Corn Ribs with Mayonnaise Topping! Prepare to tantalize your taste buds with this innovative and flavorful dish that's perfect for any occasion.  

         
Ingredients

Yield: 4 portions

  • 400 g Fresh Whole Sweet Corn, cleaned
  • 45 ml Olive oil
  • 5 g Paprika
  • 2 g Cumin
  • 45 ml Cross and Blackwell Tangy Mayonnaise
  • 5 g Salt
  • 10 g Fresh Garlic

 

Method
  1. Preheat the often to 220 C.
  2. Cut corn into quarters so that you have 4 corn ribs per ear of corn.
  3. Lay the corn on an oven tray with the cores facing down and the kernels facing up.
  4. Combine all the rest of the ingredients and mix well until the oil and Cross and Blackwell mayonnaise emulsifies.
  5. Cover the corn ribs in the sauce and place in the oven until the corn is crispy on the outside and cooked through approx. 20 min.
  6. Serve the corn ribs on a platter as a side.
