Ancient grain Smoothie bowls
Sorghum is an ancient grain that is higher in protein, naturally wheat free and more sustainable to farm. Improve on tummy fill to your customers by adding sorghum to a smoothie bowl, keeping them fuller for longer and improving the nutritional value of a bowl.

Ingredients
- 40g Bananas medium size, frozen
- 250ml Milk of your choice (Diary, coconut, Soya, Almond)
- 15ml Honey
- 15ml Black cat Peanut butter
- 40g Original Morvite
- Ice
- Toppings:
- 10g Chia seeds
- 1 packet Jungle Snack mix
- 20g Strawberries, sliced
Flavour alternatives:
Green: Replace Peanut butter with 25 g fresh Spinach, blending it very well. Garnish with Jungle Optimal Tropical Snack mix
Red: Replace Peanut butter with 25 g frozen berries, blending it very well. Garnish with Jungle Cranberry fusion Snack mix
Yellow: Replace Peanut butter with 2,5 ml Turmeric and orange segments, blending it very well. Garnish with Jungle Optimal Tropical Snack mix
Method
- Add the smoothie ingredients together in a blender.
- Add ice until you reached the desired thickness. Blend the ingredients until smooth and thick enough for you to be able to spoon the mixture into your serving bowl.
- Garnish with Chia seeds, Jungle snack mix and sliced strawberries.
Note:
Morvite can also be replaced with Tasty wheat as an alternative.
